Build An Ant Empire Tier List
Use this as a progression tier list: it groups rarity labels by the stage where they are useful goals. It is not a measured ranking of individual ants, combat strength, or exact earnings.
How to use this list
The site has a recorded 11-rarity ladder, but it does not yet have a complete ant-by-ant dataset with comparable EFF, level, mutation, speed, and production measurements. Grouping individual ant names into strength tiers would overstate what we know.
Use rarity to shortlist an offer. Then check the live Cash price, your open nest slots, and the ant's visible stats. For a fair comparison, record both ants at the same level and with the same mutation and upgrades.
Progression tiers by colony stage
Tier A
Early progression
Get a working colony started and replace weak workers when a useful, affordable offer appears.
| Rarity tier | Progression role | Decision check |
|---|---|---|
| Common | Starter workers. | Check the actual ant's stats, Cash cost, and whether it solves your current colony bottleneck. |
| Uncommon | Early upgrade over Common. | Check the actual ant's stats, Cash cost, and whether it solves your current colony bottleneck. |
| Rare | Useful while filling early floors. | Check the actual ant's stats, Cash cost, and whether it solves your current colony bottleneck. |
Tier B
Middle progression
Treat these as medium-term upgrade targets; balance rolls against colony upgrades and worker capacity.
| Rarity tier | Progression role | Decision check |
|---|---|---|
| Epic | Bridge into the mid game. | Check the actual ant's stats, Cash cost, and whether it solves your current colony bottleneck. |
| Legendary | Stronger mutation target. | Check the actual ant's stats, Cash cost, and whether it solves your current colony bottleneck. |
| Mythic | Mid / late-game worker tier. | Check the actual ant's stats, Cash cost, and whether it solves your current colony bottleneck. |
Tier C
Late progression
Plan for higher-rarity progression after the colony can support the cost and you can act on the result.
| Rarity tier | Progression role | Decision check |
|---|---|---|
| Exotic | Late-game tier after Luck investment. | Check the actual ant's stats, Cash cost, and whether it solves your current colony bottleneck. |
| Secret | Late-game tier above Exotic. | Check the actual ant's stats, Cash cost, and whether it solves your current colony bottleneck. |
| Divine | End progression tier. | Check the actual ant's stats, Cash cost, and whether it solves your current colony bottleneck. |
| OP | Above Divine in the rarity ladder. | Check the actual ant's stats, Cash cost, and whether it solves your current colony bottleneck. |
| Celestial | Highest named shop rarity in the ladder. | Check the actual ant's stats, Cash cost, and whether it solves your current colony bottleneck. |
Quick replacement check
- Open slot? Filling unused worker space may help more than saving for a higher rarity.
- Can you afford it? Keep enough Cash for the podium purchase and your next useful upgrade.
- Measured improvement? Compare visible EFF or production with your weakest worker at matching levels and upgrades.
- Worth investing in? Spend Jelly or mutation items after deciding the ant is a keeper, not just because its rarity label is higher.
Data coverage and limits
The rarity ladder and progression roles come from this site's ant guide records. The Roblox developer-product list is useful for confirming that rarity-named products exist, but does not establish Ant Queen roll odds, Cash podium prices, or species-by-species performance. Our last game-page check for this guide set was 2026-10-06; a newer game update may change available tiers. Confirm the live Index and offer screen before spending.
