Build An Ant Empire Roll Ants: Ant Queen Buying Guide
Learn how to roll ants at the Ant Queen, inspect the result, and decide whether another roll or more nest space helps more.
Quick Answer
Best Moves
- Use the Ant Queen as the main place to add new workers to your colony.
- After each roll, keep enough Cash to buy the ant from its podium if the result is useful.
- Early on, more working ants usually matters more than chasing the top rarity immediately.
How rolling fits into the colony loop
Rolling ants is the acquisition step in the core loop: roll at the Ant Queen, buy the ant from the offer podium, place it in an open colony doorway, let it produce Food boxes, then sell those boxes for Cash.
The important detail is that a roll is only useful if you can act on it. Keep enough Cash to buy a good result, and keep enough colony space to place it. Otherwise the roll may look exciting without improving the actual production loop.
Before you roll again
Check three things before spending again: whether you have an empty slot, whether Egg Luck or Egg Rolls would improve the next attempt, and whether a guaranteed upgrade would move the colony faster than another random offer.
- Roll when you have space for another useful ant.
- Pause rolling if floor space, Food value, or selling speed is the real limit.
- Do not spend the last Cash on the roll itself if you still need Cash to buy the ant that appears.
A simple rolling routine
Roll once, inspect the result, place or compare the ant, then watch one short production cycle. If the colony feels faster, keep building around that improvement. If nothing changes, spend the next Cash on the bottleneck instead of repeating the roll blindly.

Ant Carrying
Carrying is part of the food-box route: ants create or move Food, players sell it for Cash, and speed/value upgrades change different parts of that route.
Ant Speed
Ant Speed is a colony or worker-speed decision, while Speed Jellies are timed item boosts with separate prices and durations.
