Build An Ant Empire Jelly: Check Effects Before Use

Check jelly names, effects, targets, and confirmation prompts before using one on a valuable ant.

Quick Answer

Jelly currently means timed Speed Jelly in the item shop: movement boosts for active collection laps, not permanent EFF mutations.

Best Moves

  • Normal Speed Jelly: $10K, 1.3x movement speed, 5 minutes.
  • Strong Speed Jelly: $100M, 1.6x movement speed, 10 minutes.
  • Super Speed Jelly: $10T, 2x movement speed, 15 minutes.
  • Prismatic Speed Jelly: $100Qa, 2.5x movement speed, 15 minutes.

Identify the jelly before using it

Jelly is a timed movement item in the current shop data. The four tracked versions are Normal, Strong, Super, and Prismatic Speed Jelly, scaling from 1.3x movement for 5 minutes to 2.5x movement for 15 minutes.

A jelly is not the same as a Mutation Potion. Jelly helps route speed while the timer is active; mutation potions change EFF on a selected ant.

Use jelly when the timer matters

Use jelly when you are about to run collection laps or clear a long path. If you activate it before reading menus, rolling eggs, or walking away, you spend the timer without gaining much.

  • Normal Jelly fits early spare-cash laps.
  • Strong Jelly fits longer mid-game routes.
  • Super and Prismatic Jelly make more sense when your colony already earns at late-game scale.

Do not invent a jelly tier list

A fixed jelly tier list is weaker than a cost check. The best jelly is the one whose price fits your current income and whose timer you can actually use.

After one use, watch a normal trip. If the faster movement does not change the amount you sell per minute, your bottleneck is probably Food value, ant strength, or nest capacity instead.
